Senator Cale Case advocated that the Senate pass legislation permitting individuals who are caught with cannabis edibles the right to dispute the potency of the confiscated product but was promptly denied by Wyoming Lawmakers. Political figures in Wyoming are not budging on their cannabis policy as it translates to possession of cannabis edibles. Law was passed Monday that makes possession of 3 ounces of edibles illegal and individuals who are caught with the product will be faced with felony charges. There was speculation circulating the court room because cannabis policy initially made pot plants illegal and did not pertain to the edible forms created by the plant. The law is set forth right now that charges persons with under 3 ounces of marijuana possession as a misdemeanor and persons will not be charged with felonies unless they get caught four times within 3 years.
